>Can't even spell Xen right
Kek, I'm sure you've played HL1 a lot. Also Xen is easily the worst part in HL1 and far less memorable than the rest of the game.
>i'll wait for you to describe 'why' then
For a ton of reasons? It's got great gunplay, the difficulty is just right as opposed to HL1 which was very "do the right thing or die instantly", it has tons of cool moments like the Buggy or Ravenholm or Lowlife with having to survive without a gun in darkness with only flares or the supercharged Gravity Gun... etc. You just keep demonstrating you haven't played any Half Life game, because if anything the puzzles are the least memorable part which everyone just forgets. You probably saw an image of the one seesaw puzzle in Route Kanal and are baiting for attention
>they had nothing that made the original game good
Which is...? The location is different but equally interesting, City 17 and its environs are a great breath of fresh air and if you want more Black Mesa just play the HL1 expansions. HL2's AI is far more refined than HL1's. HL2 avoids the useless weapon bloat the original game has where half of the weapons are useless by the end. And if anything I'd argue HL1 overall has far more forgettable moments: On A Rail, Forget About Freeman, all of Xen are extremely mediocre and become just duller and duller on replays. So, I ask, what makes HL1 better than the sequels? You won't have a good answer because you haven't played either
