Saber's (canonically not a virgin) successful HSR banner is proof that Hoyo players don't care whether females are pure or not

Been playing with my E0S1 Saber for some hours now and she doesn't perform better than My E0 Aglaea with a 3-star LC (They both use the same exact team). The doomposters were sadly right. She's brick.

I checked JP twitter and they're all really mad at how bad Saber is. Saber is one of Japan's most iconic characters and Hoyo might lose the JP audience after treating her like this

Are Saber's early cons worth? Will they future-proof her?
