I've read the book, you haven't. Hitler speaks in the context of security for Germany, not aggressive expansion. His whole explanation of lebensraum is that Germany is a small state compared to the giants surrounding her and without sufficient power she'd get trampled. Of course every nation state back then wanted territory, but you're suggesting he wanted territory just because NS is expansionist which isn't the case. Again Mein Kampf was written through the prisma of the 'Concert of Europe' political system. By the time he came to power that had drastically changed and so did his attitude. He no longer saw the need to expand outside of the German periphary which is why the Third Reich only annexed the WW1 territories in addition to Eastern Poland. It is also why in his Danzig victory speech he speaks about the negotiations over Poland and how Russia and Germany needed to have their interests guaranteed in eventual peace negotiations. At this time Hitler had absolutely no desire to war with Russia and saw her more as an ally or at the very least a co-belligerent with common interests. It wasn't until the breaking of the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact and Stalin's demands of the Balkans and Finland that Hitler changed trajectory. He even explains it in his Barbarossa declaration.
