the crazy thing about PvP MMOs is the more PvP-centric the MMO is, the more you will get PvE carebear types who absolutely lose their minds when you kill them

i remember playing HellMOO, an absolute full-loot MMO where you can be killed by anyone anywhere at any time, and furthermore they can also break into your personal stash/apartment and steal all your items (if you haven't been clever enough about laying traps and fake apartments, doing opsec, etc...)

this game attracted tons of carebears. why? they were constantly being raped (literally - the game had rape as a PvP mechanic) and whining, but wouldn't quit and play a PvE MMO. they just stayed and whined nonstop for the game to have PvP removed.
