kino boss, especially fun to fight with deflect tear. only thing i didn't like was how much damage he does in phase 2, he has too many attacks to learn after the phase change when you've already gotten through the first phase just to get gibbed by something you haven't seen before.
and fuck it, i like the lore. to me, ER has this air of "you don't know these people, you aren't in on their plans, you aren't a god/demigod or part of their family." the focus on the archeology/history of the lands between/land of the tower combined with a story that you aren't a part of happening parallel to your adventures was cool to me. lot of horseshit and shoehorning in fromsoft's storytelling, but SoTE was done really well imo. all the bosses but Messmer and Rellana could have definitely used some more playtesting though.
