I think they specifically stopped the revenue share program in India because of jeets gaming the system (there they would coordinate and engage on each others content just to get numbers up and get money). I think they proposed showing the country someone was posting from alright but I think a lot of the jeets have already paid for VPNs (to get around the geoblock for the revenue sharing program anyway). So I don't know how effective it would be.

Jeets really are a menace to the internet. Not just the usual scams but a lot things like "captcha farms" where some Indian will solve a captcha for pennies exist, to further enshittify the internet.
