Why would anyone want moderation that enforces a status quo of 30 weekly shonen jump threads and 50 permanent ritual posting threads? It's would be better to have no moderation at all at that point, as least there's a tiny chance something valuable might pop out of the vortex of chaos rather than a tiny, stagnant, and rapidly shrinking pool of the worst and most regressively cringe anime community on the internet. I don't want to discuss anime I already watched 20 years ago. I don't want to pretend an anime where the director decided to put a scanline filter over every single episode in the season to make it "feel nostalgic" is a masterpiece.
