Holy shit, I did the exact same thing first time around. All my coworkers and friends wouldn't shut the fuck up about it, so after I had a wild night out and didn't get laid I did the same thing coming back home. I watched half of it before blacking out and wrote it off as psychotic tumblr dogshit as a result.
However, I sat down and watched it sober a couple weeks ago, and it is in fact bretty gud. It gets out of that shitty Westernized Asian Progressive humor after the first half and the plot really starts to breathe too. Apparently the first half is fucked because Netflix cut nearly an hour of it to make it 1.5 hours, so there's a missing third plus of the movie.
But apart from the animation and writing/pacing in the first half, it's a solid movie. Reminds me a lot of late 00s/early 10s Dreamworks and Sony stuff, especially Megamind and Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs.

Last night I got hammered and drank a Sapporo with my sushi for dinner, a "cocktail" that's basically just tequilla and topo chico, and two buckets; one of which was mostly blue curacao and captain morgan's and another full of hillbilly punch (white rum, peach schnapps and amaretto liqueur).
I went out in another failed attempt to meet girls, and of course just drank a lot when it became obvious this was not going to happen. Then I drove home drunk, drank a Guinness and a Miller, made an attempt to watch K-pop Demon Hunters, and blacked out 20 minutes in.
