Listen i get what you are saying but the the trait you describe is an integral part of what makes the whole archetype so great to begin with.
I can't remember a single memorable female antagonist that isn't petty in some shape or form, it's especially great watching them seeth about getting 1upped constantly for the ultimate mindbreak moment.

I stand by what i said, if you can't appreciate that you don't like them that way.
