there seems to be some truth to this. getting pretty consistent two shots on behemoths if you send the harpoon straight up the ass, which is what the math says it should take if you're hitting the inner flesh.
I did try just one harpoon and ran around for far longer than it should have taken it to bleed out, so I don't think you can get the one-shot with bleed out unless there's some especially egregious jank going on I haven't identified, or it might be a host/client thing like with the de-escalator.
