lifts for "power", yet all the power in the world is from being big, looking good and being uninjured

one might say, "powerlifting" is a sham, and ego flexing

so the secret is sets of many reps with low to moderate manageable weights, never getting injured and just having fun every workout on compound movements with some curls for girls at the end??

all this time I've been following rippleshits and I started my weightlifting journey here 15 years ago, got hurt in the first year doing ss, then took 3 years off, went back to ss, got demotivated, took 10 years off, and now I'm back did ss again, got to weights that other people consider small except for my shoulder press, which is very good, got extremely burnt out

converted to a bodybuilding style routine and I feel amazing, rep work with moderate to "low" weights feels incredible, I don't feel stressed to get under the bar, it just feels good

of course I progress up to working sets but I don't think about weight anymore, I just think about the movement being proper and challenging enough granted enough reps 5-10 and sets and I've noticed my best physique changes recently after doing this

you can progress in reps instead of muh weight, which eventually gets you to weight

at this point I just think powerlifting is more dick measuring than even bodybuilding is, what's the point of lifting the heaviest weight you can if you're just risking injury
