As a musican you NEED to know your way around keys. You can make the skeleton of any musical project you can think of. Then translate some keyboard progressions to say Electric Guitar or whatever the hell you want. The best way to come up with a melody is just messing around with Keys. And Hayley should feel lucky she picked this instrument up because it is that powerful. Even Jerm, Zac, Taylor and I believe Josh play it as their side instrument.
