An honest post about the whole diet war and it will blow your minds.............. everything within moderation. I was doing more of a ancestral diet than a carnivore diet for lack of better terms (meat, kefir, eggs, rice, honey, berries, sourdough) I was eating a boat load of meat and eggs, with a good amount of kefir everyday and my body couldn't process my free test, turning it into DHT. It made my scalp not oily, but it had this gunk on it and caused pre-mature balding. The proper term is I had overactive sebum production because the amount of free test being converted into DHT. I then used AI to give me a diet plan that reduced my sebum production by processing my free-test more than I was. I found my zinc copper ratio was bad, my phosphorus to calcium ratio was bad, and had too many androgenic foods (yes you can overdo a good thing, shocker) and recommended to cut down on my meat, dairy and egg intake, increase vegetables, including cruciferous ones, add more carbs, eat more nuts. For those who were carnivore pilled like myself "but vegetables are anti-nutrients and your body can't digest them". Correct, their role is to process hormones (fiber and some other micronutrient things do this), not necessarily provide calories or nutrients. Now my diet is way more well rounded (I was eating 1lb of 80/20 beef a day prior) and the gunk went away, and my body's natural hairloss came back to its normal rate.
My previous diet was:
1lb 80/20 beef
2 cups kefir
12 eggs
2 cups rice cooked
2 cups frozen berrier
honey with my sleepy time tea
So yea, do everything in moderation.
