Here a few weeks ago a young guy wandered into a shopping center and fired a gun randomly at the ceiling.
Then he ran off and committed suicide.
Then the police admitted they had given him the guns and ammunition.
Then they admitted they have a unit that monitors the "extreme right".
Then the police suddenly decided to divert everyones attention from this by digging up an old cold case concerning a missing female student from the 90s and raiding a few houses saying they "were close to a breakthrough".
The police always do this when they're in trouble. Distract the public with pictures from an old unsolved case of a long dead young female.
They spammed the media with this for a week until people forgot.
Essentially they recruited some guy and gave him guns to carry out an attack so they could demonize the anti-immigration movement and arrest a few people and bring in new laws but they fucked up and memoryholed the incident

The two years felt like one of those near death experiences where someone is in a bizarre hell surrounded by demons mocking them
