Do it.

So one of the things that helped me is I got self-taught in a lot of handyman and mechanic stuff. Research, learn, get your hands on some tools, and go do little side jobs for people on the weekends. Take on 2 afternoon jobs a month and eventually you can put “Handyman” on the resume like I did, and then go sperg out in interviews how you just got done doing a faulty PCV valve on a Toyota and an APP sensor on a Honda that was throwing the car into limp mode, and then chased down a loose neutral in a lady’s apartment after she had flickering lights, plus installing a couple ceiling fans on her balcony.

Make sure you mention how good a cool glass of Simple Green is on a hot day!
