He doesn't have a stance though, and sure he has a lot of projectiles but all those projectiles have different startups, # of hits, effective ranges, recoveries and then there's also all the self buffs, hand modifiers (full-import, random-import, auto-import, chaotic option, sampler 404), staves and the 4 teleports.

Is not that his kit is difficult to understand, is that it's hard to play properly because you have to adapt to all of those things on the fly at same time you have to manage your mana, constantly re-stock cards and be aware of your opponent, while also being on Strive, a game were every other char will just throw a half-screen advancing hitbox that will kill you if it hits.
