how would you test wheel/fender clearance? Preferably without actually removing the coilover. I was thinking jack the car up on one side, put 2 jack stands to hold it there. Attach the new wheel, then use the jack to push the wheel up to maximum compression like pic related (angle is exaggerated but you get the idea).

That coilover will essentially have the weight of the whole car on so even at max compression i don't think it will raise the car more but i dunno it sound sketchy as fuck i don't want to fucking flip the thing
