“You want me to alleviate any worries he might have?” She asked.

“Yes, while having a nominal position that helps you as well. After all it makes no sense to move all the building materials there from Dawnholme, they can come from your lands.” You told her.

“I have a feeling that I am a part of something bigger right now.” Edith whispered.

You gave her a polite smile.

“You shouldn’t have maybe asked for such a big bride-dowry.” You replied with a chuckle and switched the topic. “Have you spoken to Lieutenant Gravis yet?”

“No, not yet.” She said. “Should we go to him right now?”

That wasn’t a bad idea at all, but you had thought about talking with Blackmoore about the portion of the loot he had received. He had given you his favour and you could use it to ask for the loot or at least a sizable part of it. And in a situation like this where there are people around him, he could hardly refuse or make a scene. But it also looked like both Reginald and Maxwell wanted to talk with you, they had been waiting for a turn while you spoke with your own officers.

QM: Alright, I think I got the majority opinion in the end. The lands will be yours, but Lady Edith will have some oversight over them which makes her look good and she will end up with a bit more coin. A very soft landing for her that shouldn’t raise concerns. In game terms South Durnholde Hills will be added to pastebins and same normal building etc actions you have been doing apply to there.

Sorry for making this confusing, I got confused as well, but I hope we have the rightish solution here.
