Berdly unironically has genuine conection to Noelle. Even if he started as a loser parasite using Noelle, he also developed actual care and respect for her being the only one who didn't treat him as a loser. His snowgrave battle made him actually more mad to the point of doing bigger damage than on normal route. He is goofy but also a second best choice for Noelle after Kris.
