Sorry, but IMHO Genshin is a great game but really has those larger than life aspirations of being also the masterful world woven with misteries and things to remember and whatever, it is off putting for a lot of people. This isn't a fucking Tolkien work. They could have made it slimmer, but no we had these huge walls of text, thousands of small things to remember from day one. It's tiresome, this is a fact.
The thing alone that important characters and lore relevant figures and items have like, 4 or 5 different names for the same thing... WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT shit. I guess it's a Chinese thing to fill the brain with nonsense

And that's a good thing. Early character quests too were plagued by text wall sloppa. I think the new approach (and anecdotes too) will be far better
