For the brief present these corporations are manned by people that bleed. Evil only persists because we allow it to. Many of us work for evil powers. I'm a henchman myself for the most power corporations in the world and the pay is meager. The only reason the life lines that allow these corporations to be fed exist is because there is no concerted effort to sabotage them. Even so they struggle to keep up with demand of growth. We don't have enough base commodities for AI, we don't have enough power or water or fiber.
