Been daydreaming a lot about buying or building something like pic related. While I know I will probably never be able to retire, I at least want to be comfy. So I'm trying to cut back on unnecessary expenses, pay off some debts, and trying to come up with a plan to make buying some land and getting my cabin a reality. Thankfully I bought a small house before the market went to complete shit. So I do have some equity I could leverage.

And then embrace the comfiness of the season. Get yourself a small electric fireplace if you have the space and don't have an actual fireplace and fuck it, get some candles. Sitting in front of a "fireplace" with the room bathed in a soft glow with a pot roast slow cooking in the oven and playing on my Steam deck while in a big blanket is peak comfy and pure bliss.
