Hell, he should have married Mai. They're both ruthless outlaws, but they're vain and hopeless romantics. Plus, then the Mai we see in Super turns out to be Yamcha's daughter he had with Mai from a one-night stand after cheating on Bulma who became Trunks' love interest.

It's comedy that writes itself. Yamcha and Bulma were dysfunctional and doomed, but their kids are total sweethearts. Would also make Vegeta irritated that his son gets with Yamcha's child. I know DB has shitty ships like any other shounen, but Trunks and Mai feels like a crackship on steroids.
