Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:
After Chaya vs Toppo ended by stoppage, neither fighter winning, the Grand Priest announced that the tournament would begin in only 40 hours. A battle royal lasting 48 minutes, eighty fighters from eight universes competing to ensure their own survival. And upon returning to his universe Karn immediately got to work. Recruiting his firstborn son Chilli and asking him to recruit a second magic-wielder, Plastic Man of Ubo's adoptive homeworld, then his daughter Caulifla as well. And as we rejoin Karn, with nine of the ten slots for the Tournament of Power decided, you suddenly get a surprising call telepathically.
“Hey, Dad, Mom! I had an idea!” Chaya suddenly thinks to you and your wife. “I know just who to bring along!”
“Oh? You know someone who should fight with us?” you reply, but can almost see your daughter shaking her head as she answers.
“No, not to fight. But to help us with our strategy before we get there.” she answers, you feeling a little intrigued. “After all, she even planned out how to beat me.”
“Oh, interesting. Go ahead and let King Cold know, he and Kars are still the ones planning how we should tackle this tournament.” your wife replies. “We're still looking for who should fill the final spot.”
“You're already at nine? It hasn't even been an hour yet!” Chaya exclaims, shock evident through the mental link. “You're on a roll!”
“Thanks. But we're not sure who to round out our team with.” you tell her honestly. Filling her in on your current team, including leaving one spot to Chilli to recruit a second mage to back him up. “We've got one slot to finish our team with, then we can prepare for the tournament.”
“I see... Hmmm... Could...” Chaya starts, a moment later appearing before you. A conflicted look on her face. “Would you, I mean... Can I recruit the last member?”
“Do you have someone in mind?” your wife replies, eyes narrowing slightly. As if she knows something you don't.
“Maybe. If they say yes, could be a powerful ally. But...” she says, trailing off. “Can I have an hour to see if I can recruit the last member?”
Well? How do you reply?
>Agree to her request, if she thinks she can recruit a powerful ally you're in
>Tell her you appreciate her offer, but you already have some ideas who to get
>Ask why she wants to recruit someone, if it is only because her brother did as well or if there's a deeper reason
>Accept her offer only after she tells you who it is she wants to recruit
>Other(write in)?
