What gaming will look like if the economy collapses
The collapse of the economy means less spending power and willingness to spend.
So how will companies make money?
>Ads on ads. In order to queue up for another ranked game you must watch ads or fill out surveys.
>Selling user data, it's already being done right now even in single player DEMOs
>Free labor similar to roblox where users can create content and but only get to keep 1% of earnings
The alternative is releasing small games and specializing in wholesale like what happens with Vampire Survivors and Nubby's, have paying for newgrounds tier flash games.
The future of gaming is bleak if the economy doesn't recover.
