Mephisto and Trio the Minor did their jobs well as villains and for providing comedy, and were surprisingly competent at times despite their Team Rocket-esque dynamic. Siren’s purification was a blessing for them as she took up most of the screentime at the start, leaving them in the background and just being kind of there. It’s a shame Mephisto didn’t have many appearances after being saved, as he was just as fun a character after the fact.
Don’t really have much to say about Noise, but I appreciate that his fight took multiple episodes and ended with him being accepted by the Cures. His voice as Pii and in his second form was a little grating though, so I would’ve preferred if it was toned down a little (they should have had Nakao just do his normal voice for the second form).
I felt that the side characters were a little underutilized outside of Otokichi and Souta to some extent as most of them seemed to vanish halfway into the show outside a few appearances (especially Hibiki and Kanade’s classmates). A special mention to Kanon ending up being my favorite design of the towns as it was more than just a regular city like in the other seasons.
The OP was catchy, but the EDs were a step above. I preferred Wonderful Powerful Music compared to Kibou Rainbow, but it was still very good and are probably my favorite EDs of the shows I’ve seen so far beside HC ED2.

Overall score: 8/10
Hibiki > Ellen > Kanade > Ako (hampered by her lack of time as a main character, and also had the weakest Cure design)
