No other real significant F1 news has occurred during the summer break - Ferrari and Aston Martin have reached an agreement around key personnel being locked in "gardening leave" but that's about it.
I had assumed the Perez / Bottas news would break when the season resumed with the Dutch Grand Prix on Friday, however here we are.
I hope this update finds you all well, having not been here since August 3rd. Aside that is from three posts over on /hr/ when I was testing out this new vm - I've made a few edits to the environment.
I think with this news there's no need for me to be here for Friday practice, so my next update will likely be during Qualifying on Saturday, or perhaps the race itself on Sunday.
Bye for now!
