It's probably going to be up there, haven't gotten to it yet but Ancient makes good shit and Yuzo in particular is one of my favorite creatives in the industry. So far the only games I've played this year that feel exceptional are remakes of existing games which I barely count; NG Ragebound was very good but not as good as I hoped with some bad bugs and the Shinobi demo has me thinking it will be in that ballpark. Every other contender is either not in a genre I care about, exclusive to a console I don't own, or an upcoming small-mid range budget arcadey game (Absolum, Night Striker Gear, Lumines Arise, Marvel Cosmic Invasion, Candy Rangers, Neon Inferno).
