I just completely stopped recommending or even discussing vidya with friends, because any game that requires any bit of proper exploration of its systems will just be abandoned right away. I don't care for Hell Is Us' genre enough to get it on launch, but I'll always respect Devs who take this kind of stance, and seeing Devs sticking to their guns on topics like this is what makes me keep certain games on my radar when they otherwise wouldn't be.
