At least Capcom didn't let Chris steal the entire show in RE7 & RE8 from Ethan, like Kiryu did from Ichiban in Yakuza 8. A lot of the RE fanbase already dislike Grace possibly for RE9 and want Leon to be playable for most of it, if he is in it.
