An excellent little song, I loved this one when I heard the album, and it's perfect for exactly this sort of performance. Just a stripped-down acoustic jam relying on the strengths of the vocals and what little instrumentation they need for the rhythm. Also bonus points to the effort to record a whistle on a handheld mic in the open air like that. Can't be easy at all, and I doubt they did many takes for this if they didn't end up with a crowd. But it's always a pleasure to hear from them, so I'm sure you folks don't mind one bit.

You might recall this guy from a Vulfpeck tune or two I shared in the past. The dude's got a golden voice, and he really belts it out for this one. It's got a classic kind of sound, I wanna say kind of Tom Petty? Maybe a little Bob Dylan? Surely a mix of several influences, but that's the best my limited brain can conjure this late at night. I really enjoy this one, and you know, you kinda do just have to figure it out as you go sometimes. Sometimes that manifests as learning about life by putting yourself out there and experiencing it firsthand. Sometimes that manifests as being thrown to the wolves the first few months of a job and being expected to learn how to do everything by figuring out what doesn't get you yelled at. Pretty solid split between the two I find. C'est la vie.
