Haw Par Villa was fun to visit, there are tonnes of weird as fuck statues for whatever monkey religion they follow, was a bit grotty but in a unique way, and free entry
Of course you have your standard harbourfront, Marina Bay, Botanic Garden, fireworks and fountain shows. Things that look nice but clearly just flashy for the tourists. Botanic garden was pretty nice and I could have spent more time there
There's enough shopping centres for you to visit a different one every day of the month and theyre all pretty much the same. Food is good at all of the ones i visited though
Sentosa island has plenty of attractions (Universal studios etc) but it's pure tourist slop. Prices for entry aren't terrible and I enjoyed my time there because I'm a faggot who likes that kind of thing. The queues for rides at universal weren't bad at all
There's plenty of nice colonial archecture if you can be arsed to find it amongst all the soulless metal and glass monstrocities. Raffles hotel was a lovely place for a drink
Hawker centres (in particular I liked Tekka centre) these places are great desu. so chaotic and in places look like a third world shithole but wandering around them feels like actual culture and not just like how every first world capital city looks. Use your judgement if you want to get food or not but a fun place to wander round
Little India - this place was shit, goes without saying really. Too many jeets and really not interesting at all
I wish I'd gotten to visit the more outdoors places for diving, fishing cycling that kind of thing. I would say you're going to need the feeling of touching grass after a month because it's so gentrified and grey everywhere. I only spent a week there and was feeling like that by the end.
Malaysia is extremely close so if you're going to be there a while look into it
This is just the insight of a random tourist who's less jaded on tourist crap than most. I hope you enjoy because overall it's quite a lovely place and I'd like to go back
