I lived in this region for a while and can vouch that there's still shitskins in the cities and even small towns there. It is very strange in small rural villages however, like they're still living in the middle ages cutting grass with scythes and riding donkeys around. But it is genuinely better than anywhere else in Spain; the rest of the country is indeed an uninhabitable desert or Med resort towns filled with Africans, Moors and drunk Englishmen.
