I love how movie subtly implies just how badly reze yearns for a normal life. Yes we are told she never got to school but

>is very self aware, realizes she is just a kid and that childhood/teenhood was stolen from her
>when telling denji what he is missing from not going to school she tells very idealized idea of school life, almost as if taken from a slice of life anime
During firework scene she asks denji to run away and I always took it as her ploy to lure him into a trap, but I now lean more towards a more romantic motive. I believe she only started to think about the mission when she felt betrayed by denji

Also, seeing a shadow cover her as life exits her eyes unlocked a trauma I did not expect from this arc.

It's pretty weird. Part 1's ending is great, part 2's start is nice, but then it goes downhill. Nobody I know keeps up with the chapter releases anymore except me. I just can't hate Fujimoto though, I love everything he's made except for part 2.
