People laugh at unfunny things all the time, it happens at funerals but it's usually not because someone died it's an involuntary action that people cannot be blamed for.
What IS reprehensible is not only laughing but rejoicing in the death of a person and wishing that more people who share the same views as the person who died would meet the same fate.
There is also the fact that objective morality exists and Charlie was someone who stood for what is good and righteous whereas the faggot who killed him and the people who support that faggot stand for degeneracy and wickedness.
One group deserves punishment whereas the other group does not according to objective moral standards.
