Gentle Reminder that Americans will literally sit in the car for 3-4 hours just to watch their "home" team.
For example, the San Francisco 49ers do not actually play in San Francisco but instead play in Levi's Stadium, in a town called Santa Clara, with a population of 120K people, which is over an hour's drive away.
Santa Clara does not have a train station. There is not even a bus service from San Fran to Santa Clara. If you are a /lifelong/ resident of Frisco, your only choice is to spend over two hours in the car in order to watch your "local" team.
Keep in mind that these """people""" unironically set off early just so they can spend a few hours eating hot dogs in a car park before the "game" begins. Their entire "game day" literally revolves around traffic, advertisements and junk food.
