Johnson back in1989 ruling (in a tight 5‑4 decision) that flag‑burning is symbolic free speech under the First Amendment (and famously reaffirmed the next year). So, PTG, let me ask, how do y’all still support someone like this, who just shrugged off 35 years of constitutional precedent as “a very sad court,” and waved through an order to jail people for expressing themselves with fire and fabric?
