yup. i haven't been playing fighting games all my life and i'm already 33. if i'm going to place well in respectable tournaments, i would either

1. have already been playing these games since i was young
or
2. invest multiple years into the genre since i'm a slow learner
i do not see this as worth the effort, so i must readjust my expectations
