people are ok talking about killing birds but if you talk about dispatching feral cats they turn full reddit soyboy. TNR of cats is technically a violation of the Endangered Species Act as well as the Migratory Bird Treaty Act but low T soyboys that don't care about nature go bonkers over their furbabies so it's not enforced even though feral cats kill north of 2 BILLION birds in the US annually (a number most can't believe) unwashed white dudes with dreadlocks that hike on 'trails' will bitch about leave no trace and harass families in nature but they'll feed stray cats, volunteer at cat shelters, feed stray cats at their work, etc.
