Shuandi wasn't originally going to be in Saints Row 3. Her absence was going to be justified by her being busy with her TV star project outside of America. Volition literally made a new character and then changed her name to Shuandi when SR3 was near the end of its development, so the name was the only thing they had time to change, along with lines of dialogue. The game had a lot more retarded decisions made during its development, thanks to retarded director.

At least REAL Shuandi came back in 4 desu
