Yeah, I think Frank Doyle was the best Archie writer for sure. The stories seemed to weaken when we went into semi-retirement in the mid-80s and a bunch of other writers came in, some better than others.

George Gladir was also pretty prominent and did some fun stories too. He was also a bit of a weeaboo and actually collaborated on a gag manga in the mid-90s.
