the colony i made yesterday wiped because of a dwarf psycaster raid. i can't resist making enemies of the dwarves, their xenotype is just so juicy.

i let a guy with a charge shotgun come up close, i should have zapped him with the psyshock lance when i noticed bullets weren't working. Also, i could have just left? i was a few days away from having mechs, 2-3 mechs would have made a big difference in this fight. i could have used my disposable rockets, they work for people even though i made them for anti-mech.

really i like the raid-every-3-days setup. with the gravship you have a get-out-of-jail-free card but it has a cooldown of >3 days (at least until you fully upgrade the ship).
