It's classic solipsism.
Solipsism is the believe that your viewpoint is the only possible/valid viewpoint. It's different from empathy - it's an excuse to never even try to empathize.
Women don't care if their man had sex with lots of women before them ...indeed, women actually like that! It's preselection. Lots of other women found this man attractive, so that proves he is attractive, and not faking it.
Due to solipsism, women believe that men should feel the same way about women. "Why would a man care about my past?" - say a woman who doesn't care about men's pasts.
