I got offered a "career course" by the military, should I ask for time off from my other job to do that?

I think the course content is active directory monkeying stuff, just finally a formalized course (that doesnt give real certs ofc but whatever i can use it for rank-up goodboy points) instead of the old style of "here's the administrative red tape doctrine, go on SO if you're still scared by powershell"
