I embody one, and we're both aware of what we're capable of and what surrounds us and the consequences of our transgressions.
That being said, we pray for salvation. It's an affliction, not a boast. It's an existence of dread and an emptiness you can't describe, a hunger you can't possibly alleviate.
You pray for death, knowing that the Lord denies it to you in order to make the time for your possible atonement. To truly understand what it meant when you turned your back on creation for the lusts of destruction.
I wouldn't wish this on anyone, and I really am looking forward to the end.
