A good majority of Roblox games follow similar tropes (because technically they're experiences and not games) which I don't believe is a bad thing. I get an urge to play games like the Call of Duty: Zombies series w/ custom maps, eventually getting burnout after some time. It's simply repetitive and gets old after a while. Running 'round in circles shooting zombies. You'd be hard pressed to find a full-fletched game on Roblox with lots of original content, assets, and enough things to do to keep you engaged just as much as a game you'd find on steam or elsewhere (except for maybe a tycoon) . Even some of those games fall into the same replayability issues as with Roblox, likely due to it being a fundamental issue with games as a whole. The dark patterns Roblox games have is only but a piece of the moldy pie.
