1 Ash's design in XY isn't the same as in other series, it's XY Ash the one that looks like Ash-Greninja.
2 Ash-Greninja isn't a mega and that one *was* created for Ash instead. Others like Alain or Shota were clearly designed after their pokemon, instead of the pokemon designed after them. It's not even a mega-exclusive thing
