Artists dont need to do anything but create. AI sloppers, on the other hand, need to configure their tools, find loras for artists they plan to steal from, have preset comebacks ready for when they inevitably get told "this looks like shit, fuck off" and hivemind each other to cope about never being artists. AI is losing money by thr millions daily and companies are backing out left and right.
