We've been jeeted, that's what happened. The Chinese stopped coming here in masse to launder their corruption money through our real estate. Politicians and real estate jews became terrified that the real estate bubble would burst, boomer pensions would shrink and our economy would stop. So they opened the flood gates to pajeets to try and keep things ticking along. Keep rental prices high, keep consumerism going, keep construction projects happening and keep real estate values high. The thing is though that jeets don't have as much money to invest per capita as the Chinese did so they need to bring in many times the volume of pajeets than they did Chinese in order to keep the pyramid scheme inflated. Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the UK are finished. Short of a revolution (which is not going to happen) there is no going back.

The jeeting started long before covid. Certain parts of Sydney were full of jeets by 2010. By 2018 every fast food place, convenience store, supermarket, hospital, train station and the airport were full of pajeets. Since 2022 the jeeting has been mega-accelerated.
