Well, there's the problem fren, you're imagination doesn't overrule tangible reality.
Just because I lie to myself and "think" gravity doesn't exist, upon stepping off a high place, my broken ankles testify truth.
So, instead, we align ourselves to reality and truth of tangibility, and the invention of airplanes "allow" the experience of flying without denying the reality of gravity.
